8 Fun & Festive Things to Do Over the Easter Holidays

I’m so excited to share some of my favorite ways to make the most of the Easter holidays. Whether you’re planning something cozy at home or heading out for an adventure, Easter is the perfect time to reconnect, refresh, and make memories with the people you love. Let’s dive into some super fun and meaningful ways to spend the break!

1. Plan a Spring Getaway

Easter often falls right when spring is in full bloom, so it’s a great excuse to take a mini vacation. You could visit the Cotswolds for charming countryside views, or head to Lake District for scenic hikes and cozy cottages.

2. Host an Easter Brunch

I absolutely love a good Easter brunch. Set up a beautiful table, whip up some hot cross buns, scrambled eggs, and fresh fruit, and invite a few friends or family members. Bonus points for adding a DIY mimosa bar!

Easter Egg Hunt

3. Easter Egg Hunt for All Ages

You’re never too old for a little fun! Organize an Easter egg hunt in your backyard or local park. Fill eggs with chocolates, notes, or even small prizes, and make it a fun event for kids and adults alike.

4. Get Creative with Crafts

DIY Easter crafts are such a wholesome way to spend time with kids (or just have some fun yourself!). Try decorating eggs, making bunny garlands, or creating your own Easter wreaths.

5. Visit a Local Farm or Petting Zoo

Spring is the season of new life, and baby animals are everywhere! I always recommend visiting a local farm — it’s a great family-friendly day out and a chance to see chicks, lambs, and bunnies up close.

Easter Treats

6. Bake Easter Treats

Get baking and fill your kitchen with the smell of freshly made goodies. You can try these Easter cookies or even make your own chocolate eggs for gifting.

7. Take a Nature Walk

One of my favorite Easter traditions is a peaceful walk surrounded by blooming flowers. Visit a nearby garden, nature reserve, or just your local park to soak up the fresh air and beauty of the season.

8. Give Back

Easter is also a time for kindness and giving. Volunteer at a local food bank, make care packages, or simply check in on a neighbor — small acts of love can make a big difference.

Whatever you do this Easter, I hope it brings you joy, peace, and plenty of chocolate. Let’s celebrate the season with open hearts and fresh energy.
